History of Lifework
· In 1982, Moshe Elbaum received a Black Belt in karate. In 1984, he earned a 2nd Dan Black Belt. His karate training not only strengthened his natural capacity to be a teacher and body-centered practitioner, it also contributed significantly to the development of the Method.
· He first used the Method professionally in 1987 when he founded the Institute for Body Balance and Bio-energy in Ashkelon, Israel. He began working with children and adults with muscular tension, posture problems and difficulties with reading and writing.
· From 1987-1989, he developed a unique system of evaluating clients that allowed him to pinpoint the main physical reasons for their learning difficulties and behavioral dysfunction.
· In 1988, Moshe founded the Body Balance Department at Ridman College in Tel Aviv. This department was then renamed Body-Mind Balance.
· In March 1989, he received a certificate of Instructor of Karate from Nat Holman School for Instructors and Trainers (Wingate Institute), Ministry of Education and Culture of the State of Israel.

· In 2000, Moshe founded the Elbaum College. Also in 2000, he began an experimental program in the Bloch Elementary school in Tel Aviv where the Method was used as part of the curriculum. The program has since expanded to more than 120 schools.
· Up until 2003, Moshe managed the Elbaum College and the Elbaum Center, and then began to work privately.
· In 2003, The Elbaum Center published Moshe's first book written in Hebrew "Touch and Emotional Massage" as a training program for his students.
· In September of 2007, sponsored by Mr. Stephen Spahn, the Chancellor of the Dwight School in New York City, Moshe came to the United States to continue his lifework. In addition to lecturing and interviewing with Fox 5 News and Good Day New York, Moshe continued to refine the Method and to work privately.
· In 2009, Moshe published Intelligence Integration: A Revolutionary Training Program that Improves Children’s Learning and Behavioral Abilities. This book is revolutionary in that it allows families to learn and practice the techniques of the Method from the comfort of their own homes.
With the publication of his natural treatment for ADHD and learning difficulties "Intelligence integration" book, Moshe hopes to realize his lifelong dream of reaching as many people as possible around the world who are struggling with learning, functional and behavioral difficulties.
